Servo motor SG90

Servo motor SG90

A little motor that turns to a position

In your kit: 1×

🔎 What is it?

A servo is a little motor that you can turn to a precise position, from 0 to 180 degrees. For example, you say "go to 90 degrees" and it goes exactly there. You put a little arm on the shaft.

🔌 This is how you connect it

The servo has three wires:

  • Orange or yellow (signal) to a pin, for example D9
  • Red to 5V
  • Brown to GND

✨ What can you do with it?

  • A barrier gate
  • A pointer that points to the temperature
  • A waving robot arm

💡 Tip

Do not turn the arm by hand. Then the little gears inside can break.
