Active buzzer
Makes beeps

The buzzer makes a beep sound. It is an active buzzer: it beeps by itself as soon as it gets power. You only have to turn it on and off, just like a little light.

- S (signal) to a pin, for example D8
- + to 5V
- − to GND

✨ What can you do with it?
- An alarm
- A parking sensor that beeps faster when you get closer
- A doorbell or a timer
💡 Tip
Want a short beep? Turn the buzzer on, wait 100 milliseconds, and turn it off again.
